Wilsons global fame was amplified in 2014 after she joined the show to play Alison Lockhart. A troubled young lady named Alison Lockhart has a dark history and falls in the love of Noah Solloway. Wilson as well as Mauratierney and Joshua Jackson won a Golden Globe as Best Actress for a Television Series-Drama in 2015. Wilson, speaking to British Vogue earlier in the year told British Vogue that she loved playing characters from two different perspective. Noah sees Alison in a confident, unpretentious and sexually attractive manner. In reality, however Alison regards herself as being dowdy. She added: "I do believe America is moralistic and judgmental and therefore what transpires on the show is shocking." Wilson has since left the show much to the surprise of the fans. However, Wilson did not provide the specifics. During an interview on CBS This Morning Interview in August 2018, Wilson said, "I did want to go but I can't talk about the reasons why." The Little Stranger More recently Wilson has been pursuing film roles. Wilson starred in the horror thriller I Am the Pretty Thing Living in the Home, which premiered in 2016. She also portrayed the mysterious PT Stella as the Sci-Fi rom com How to Talk to Girls a Parties. Wilson will add an additional horror movie to her list of credits as she is in The Little Stranger, a British version of The Little Stranger, a supernatural thriller based on the book by Sarah Waters. Wilson will also serve as the executive producer of this film.
